Dieter Zimmer is a pharmaceutical and analytical chemist. He is well known and acknowledged as bioanalytical expert and opinion leader by the bioanalytical community and maintains a strong scientific network within pharmaceutical industries and contract research organizations (CROs). His main areas of expertise are non-regulatory and regulatory (GLP, GCP) bioanalytics, residue analysis, quantitative LC-MS/MS, pharmaco-/toxicokinetics, outsourcing and project management. He held positions with increasing responsibility in R&D of major pharmaceutical companies and in a CRO. Dieter is member of the German Society of Mass Spectrometry (DGMS e.V.), the Global Bioanalytical Consortium (GBC), and was representative of his former companies in the European Bioanalysis Forum (EBF) and in the Global CRO Council (GCC). He published 28 papers in peer reviewed journals and numerous posters, had more than 40 oral presentations at conferences and workshops and is a conference organizer himself.
